CPS’s lightweight steel bottom dump releases material through the hopper beneath the trailer. Compare the hopper opening, gate controls, suspension and route requirements with the material and placement work.

Bulk hauling & rear discharge
Standard and tall-side half-round bodies serve different material and volume needs. Start with material density and unloading conditions, then compare body length, wall and floor specification, tailgate and frame configuration.

Check the fit
Does the job need more volume, a different tailgate or a body built for greater abrasion?
A model name starts the search. Your freight or material determines which dimensions, construction details and unloading arrangement deserve the closest look.
Bring freight dimensions and support points, or the material type and density. Body volume and structural capacity do not establish the legal payload for your route.
Compare concentrated loads, tiedowns and decking for freight; compare abrasion, wall height and gate design for bulk material. Match those details to the actual build sheet.
Describe access, ground conditions, overhead clearance and the receiving area. Confirm the tractor, hydraulic or air connections and unloading equipment together.
Include your target date and destination. Sales can verify a listed unit or discuss sourcing, the proposed configuration and financing steps.

The current Legendwing combo flatbed uses a steel main structure with aluminum flooring and rails. Other families and older builds can differ, so compare the exact model, deck, load-support ratings and options rather than using the combo label alone.
Volume is one part of the decision. Material density, abrasion, body construction, axle configuration, truck and route limits also matter. A tall body does not automatically allow more weight, and its unloading requirements must fit the site.
