The Smitcho washer is used on the end of the threaded pivot pin for the nut to tighten up against and secure it into the tub of the trailer.
SMITHCO - WASHER
The Smitcho washer is used on the end of the threaded pivot pin for the nut to tighten up against and secure it into the tub of the trailer. The washer gives the nut the proper circumference to tighten down against securing the main bearing assembly in place for the amount of force that it has on it when dumping the trailer over. The washer is sold individually.
There's 4 washers per trailer.
