SMITHCO - MAIN BEARING HSG ASSY

The main bearing assembly is what rests into the cradles of the frame of the trailer when the tub is in the stationary position. It has an oscillating bushing inside of it that the threaded pivot pin slides through with a spacer on each side of the assembly. It's held onto the tub of the trailer by the threaded pivot pin. On the Smithco side dumps utilizing the hook style latch; the hook clamps onto the main bearing assembly and secures that side of the tub down while it dumps from the opposite side and vice versa.
