7 way plug with circuit breakers is a female plug 7 way that has 6 20 amp circuit breakers around the backside that are used for transferring power from the truck to all the outputs on the receptacle for the trailer's functions. The circuit breaker design offers a simple way to swap out a toasted breaker on whatever side of the trailer that's no longer getting power to it. Instead of buying a new 7 way receptacle; you can just swap out the breakers.
