The taskmaster gate valve is common on a wide array of belly dump trailers. The most common ones they are on are the Ranco belly dumps. This valve controls the gates by manually dumping them open or via a switch wired in the cab for energizing the solenoid for remote operation. These valves are commonly on the older belly dumps as the newer belly dumps tend to have the versa valve on them.
