FEMALE 7-WAY PLUG

The 7 way female plug is commonly used on the truck side on light duty trucks for transferring 7 way power from the truck to the trailer it's connected too. The wires are wired up to the terminals on the plug giving it power to transfer to the trailer when it's plugged in. This plug is commonly mounted on light duty trucks to pull car haulers, flat beds, and utility trailers; giving them the power they need for the lights and the trailer brakes if equipped. The plug pins on the back of this 7 way receptacle is made for a harness to slide over the pins on the back of the plug to give it power. There's not any wires that are held into this plug using set screws; see pictures of product for reference on this. 

PLEASE NOTE: Whenever you're swapping out a plug like this it's imperative to make sure that your application has a harness to plug into the back of this receptacle; if it does not a different receptacle will have to be purchased; or you'll have to make a harness for it to work correctly.
