Where this family fits
The XL 110 HDE reference model has a 24-foot 1-inch to 40-foot 11-inch main deck. Its published 90,000-pound concentrated rating applies over 10 feet with the deck closed; it is not an extended-deck rating. Ask for the loading chart at the working length you need.
XL also publishes mini-deck HDEM configurations. Compare deck height, ground clearance, usable well length and the truck’s hydraulic supply before choosing between them.

A few things worth clarifying.
Can I use the closed-deck rating when the HDE is extended?
No. The published reference rating is for the stated closed-deck configuration. Give sales the load weight, bearing length and required extension so the applicable manufacturer loading chart can be checked.
Is this an in-stock trailer or a configuration to discuss?
The specifications describe the manufacturer’s reference configuration. Matching live listings appear separately on this page. If none are listed, ask Western Truck & Trailer about current availability, specifications and order timing.
