XL Classic hydraulic lowboys
The Classic HDG provides front access to a low main deck through a hydraulic detachable neck. Its seven-position front ride-height adjustment is a practical comparison point for equipment and routes that need different deck settings.

Where this family fits
The XL 110 HDG reference model carries a published 110,000-pound rating concentrated over 12 feet, with a 26-foot main deck. The standard table lists a 22-inch deck height and 6 inches of ground clearance.
XL’s model table spans 70,000 to 160,000 pounds across different builds. Check the exact deck, neck, axle arrangement and load distribution on the proposed unit. A higher family rating does not apply to every HDG.

A few things worth clarifying.
How is the Classic HDG different from the low-profile HDGS?
The Classic HDG has seven front ride-height positions. XL’s low-profile HDGS uses a different neck layout with five front positions and includes Guardian and lower-deck configurations. Compare the full drawing and truck fit rather than choosing by the family name alone.
Is this an in-stock trailer or a configuration to discuss?
The specifications describe the manufacturer’s reference configuration. Matching live listings appear separately on this page. If none are listed, ask Western Truck & Trailer about current availability, specifications and order timing.
