Dragon Products
Dragon at Western Truck & Trailer

Dragon tanks & trailers.

Start with what you handle.

Moving liquid, storing it on location and exchanging containers call for different equipment. Compare Dragon’s four product families, then work with Western to confirm the configuration for your operation.

Product guides and example photos describe manufacturer configurations. They are separate from live inventory; confirm the actual trailer’s build sheet and availability with sales.

Explore the lineup

Four jobs. Four starting points.

Choose the work first. The guides below explain what to compare and what to bring to a quote request. Model references describe the product range; available and incoming equipment are listed separately.

Fluid collection & transfer

Vacuum trailers

Compare tank volume, axle layout and the vacuum system around the material you handle. Code and non-code models require different checks; a volume or brand name alone does not determine suitability.

Models to discuss

130 BBL non-code reference · 120 BBL ASME code reference · 185 BBL Western listings

Check the fit

What will you collect, and what documentation does that service require?

Fluid storage on location

Frac & storage tanks

Start with the storage duty, site layout and fluid compatibility. Compare floor and wall styles, access and connections. Keep new and refurbished equipment distinct when reviewing individual listings.

Models to discuss

500 BBL V-bottom · 500 BBL round-bottom · Mini frac tanks

Check the fit

How will the tank be placed, filled, drained and cleaned on your site?

Liquid transport & unloading

Crude oil trailers

Dragon’s double-conical range brings the tank shape and discharge layout into the specification conversation. Confirm the exact model, code plate, equipment and commodity compatibility rather than carrying specifications across the range.

Models to discuss

Double Conical 8400 · Double Conical 10500 · Double Conical 11000

Check the fit

What are the product, loading point, discharge arrangement and route?

Container exchange & material handling

Roll-off trailers & containers

Compare the container, trailer and hoist as one system. Dragon lists single- and two-container trailers, tag trailers, hoists and several box styles. Ask sales to confirm the combination and sourcing options.

Models to discuss

Single Container Trailer · Two Container Trailer · Open-top, rolling-lid & vacuum boxes

Which containers and loading equipment must the trailer work with?

Before the quote

Specify the service, then the equipment.

A tank’s nominal size is only a starting point. A useful quote connects the product and operating conditions with the vessel, vehicle and handling system.

  1. Product and operating conditions

Identify the material, temperature, density and loading or unloading process. Confirm the tank construction, lining and any required code documentation for that service.

  2. Capacity and the complete vehicle

Bring the required volume and loaded weight, tractor details and routes. Tank volume does not establish a legal payload or permitted commodity.

  3. Connections and daily use

List the pump or vacuum system, hose sizes, valves, discharge points and access requirements. Compare these against the actual build sheet.

  4. Condition and timing

Include the delivery location, target date and whether you will consider refurbished equipment. Ask for the inspection and refurbishment scope on the specific unit.

Keep the decision moving.

Questions before you choose.

Are the pictured Dragon products available now?

The photographs illustrate equipment and product families. The live inventory section shows current listings and separates available units from incoming units. Confirm the actual unit, location, condition and timing with sales.

Are all Dragon vacuum trailers code tanks?

No. Dragon lists both code and non-code vacuum models. Confirm the specific tank’s code plate, certification, inspection records and suitability for the intended product and operating conditions. Do not infer these from tank size or a family photograph.

Can I ask about a refurbished frac tank?

Yes. Identify refurbished equipment separately when you inquire and ask for that unit’s refurbishment and inspection details. Condition, lining, valves and records need to be checked on the actual tank.

Where should I look for Ranco dump trailers?

Ranco is a separate product line within Dragon Products’ manufacturer catalog. Western’s Ranco page covers dump-trailer applications; this Dragon page focuses on vacuum trailers, storage tanks, crude haulers and roll-off equipment.
