BWS equipment & paving trailers
For equipment that loads from the rear, the ramp and beavertail deserve as much attention as the deck. BWS’s equipment and paving range includes ET configurations in several lengths and axle layouts.

- Overall length range
- 42–53 ft
- Axle configurations
- 2–4
- Published GVWR range
- 85,000–110,000 lb
What to compare
Check the entire loading path
Compare ramp length, beavertail geometry and the breakover onto the deck with the equipment’s clearance. Share the machine’s actual dimensions, not just its weight.
Match the ramp package
BWS lists manual and air-ramp options. Its ET MR model entries specify manual ramps; do not assume every equipment trailer uses the same system.
Specify the working deck
Discuss usable deck space, wheel-area decking, securement and storage. Tire size and axle arrangement also belong on the final build sheet.

| Model | Overall length | Axles |
|---|---|---|
| 42ET2X / 42ET3X | 42 ft | 2 / 3 |
| 48ET2X / 48ET3X | 48 ft | 2 / 3 |
| 53ET2X / 53ET3X | 53 ft | 2 / 3 |
| 53ET3X MR / 53ET4X MR | 53 ft | 3 / 4 |
These ET entries list a 102 in. overall width. The family GVWR range is a gross rating, not the weight of equipment you can load. Confirm trailer tare and the selected build’s ratings.
Manufacturer reference ranges and models. Confirm current specifications, ratings and options on the quoted build. Published ratings do not establish legal payload.

Before you choose
